The correct way to store anti-static work clothes
2024-01-16 13:40
The storage of anti-static clothing is as important as its production. People often only pay attention to the details of production, but often ignore the storage of finished products. This approach is wrong! Many companies fail to store anti-static clothing correctly, which leads to a decline in the performance of work clothes and affects the qualification rate of the production line. Do you know how to properly store anti-static clothing?
Environmental requirements
1. Dry and ventilated
Anti-static work clothes should be stored in a dry and ventilated environment to prevent mildew and deterioration. A humid environment will not only affect the performance of clothing materials, but may also breed bacteria, posing a threat to the health of workers.
2. Avoid direct sunlight
Ultraviolet rays from sunlight can damage many materials, including the special fabrics used in anti-static work clothes. Therefore, the storage environment should avoid direct sunlight to protect the clothing from ultraviolet damage.
3. Temperature and humidity control
The temperature and humidity of the storage environment should be maintained within an appropriate range. Too high a temperature can accelerate material aging, while too low a humidity can cause static electricity to build up. Therefore, the appropriate storage temperature and humidity should be selected based on the characteristics of the clothing material.
Space layout
1. Off the ground and off the wall
In order to prevent moisture on the ground and water vapor on the walls from affecting the anti-static work clothes, they should be stored at least 200mm away from the ground and walls. This ensures that the garment is in a relatively dry environment and reduces the possibility of getting damp.
2. Keep away from heating elements
The heating element will generate high temperature and heat, causing damage to the materials of anti-static work clothes. Therefore, during storage, work clothes should be kept at least 1m away from all heating elements to avoid high temperature damage to the clothes.
Packaging and protection
1. Complete packaging
Anti-static work clothes should keep their packaging intact during storage and transportation. Packaging materials should be moisture-proof, dust-proof, and insect-proof to protect the clothing from external contamination and damage.
2. Use coverings
During transportation, in order to prevent the anti-static work clothes from being damaged by the sun and rain, a covering should be added to the clothes. The covering should have waterproof and sun-proof properties to ensure the safety of the clothing during transportation.
