There is no fixed number for the service life of anti-static clothing, because it is affected by many factors, including the use environment, usage habits, material quality, cutting and sewing workmanship, and washing methods.

Usage environment: In harsh working environments, such as high temperature, high humidity, strong corrosion, etc., the service life of anti-static clothing will be relatively short. In milder environments, its service life may be longer.

Usage habits: Improper usage habits such as frequent wearing, friction, and pulling will accelerate the wear and aging of anti-static clothing, thereby shortening its service life.

Material quality: The fabrics of anti-static clothing usually contain conductive fibers. The quality of these fibers directly affects its anti-static performance and durability. High-quality conductive fibers maintain their anti-static effect longer and extend the life of your garments.

Cutting and sewing workmanship: Good cutting and sewing workmanship can ensure the structural stability of anti-static clothing, reduce the occurrence of problems such as threading and disconnection, and thereby extend its service life.

Washing method: Anti-static clothing needs to be cleaned using special washing methods and detergents to avoid damaging its anti-static performance and fabric structure. Improper washing methods will accelerate the wear and aging of anti-static clothing.

Based on the above factors, generally speaking, the service life of anti-static clothing is about 6 months to one year, but this is only a rough reference range. In actual use, judgment and decision-making need to be made based on specific circumstances. For example, if the anti-static clothing is damaged, has broken sutures, becomes mildewed, or has broken conductive fibers, or has reached the washing resistance time specified by the anti-static level, it should be scrapped in time and replaced with new anti-static clothing.
