1. Check conductive fibers

The reason why anti-static gloves are anti-static is that their fabric are embedded with conductive fibers, whether the conductive fibers are added to the standard, and what kind of conductive fibers are added? This directly affects the quality of ESD gloves. So how do you check for conductive fibers? The method is as follows: Cut the fabric along the edge of the black conductive fiber with scissors, and separate the black conductive fiber, observe whether there is one or several coarse fibers with a magnifying glass, and measure the resistance of the separated conductive fiber with a surface resistance tester. With continuous removal of several, you can basically determine whether each black silk in the fabric contains conductive fibers.

2. Measure the resistance: Randomly extract a certain amount of samples from a batch of ESD gloves and use a surface resistance tester to test the warp and weft resistance of the gloves.

3. In addition to checking the conductive fibers and surface resistance of the gloves, check the appearance of the gloves. The stitching parts of ESD gloves must be neat. Esd gloves with obvious stray, scattered, or cracked seams are not qualified.
