When storing flame retardant work clothes, the following steps and precautions should be followed to ensure that its performance is maintained and its service life is extended:

1. Storage environment requirements

Cool and dry: flame retardant work clothes should be stored in a cool and dry environment, avoid direct sunlight and high temperature environment, to prevent fabric aging, fading or performance decline.

Good ventilation: Ensuring that the storage area is well ventilated will help reduce the risk of moisture and mildew.

Keep away from corrosive goods: Flame retardant work clothes shall not be stored with corrosive goods, oil or other flammable goods to prevent chemical corrosion or pollution.

2. Storage method

Hanging or flat: It is recommended to hang the flame retardant work clothes on a hanger or flat in a dry cabinet, avoid folding or heavy weight, to maintain the flat and shape of the fabric.

Packaging protection: If not used for a long time, flame retardant work clothes can be placed in sealed bags or packaging boxes to reduce the attachment of dust and dirt.

Spacing requirements: When storing, the package should be more than 20mm (or 20cm) away from the wall and the ground to prevent rat bite, moth, mildew and other hidden dangers.

3. Regular inspection and maintenance

Check integrity: Regularly check the fabric, stitches, zippers and other parts of the flame retardant work clothes are intact, if there is damage, stitches off, etc., should be repaired or replaced in time.

Cleaning and maintenance: flame retardant work clothes should be cleaned in time after use, remove stains and sweat stains, in order to keep the fabric clean and breathable. Cleaning should be carried out in accordance with the product instructions or professional advice, avoid using corrosive detergents or bleach.

Storage period: Pay attention to the storage period of flame-retardant work clothes, generally 2 years. Flame-retardant work clothes that exceed the storage period should be re-tested and evaluated to ensure that their performance still meets safety requirements.

4. Other precautions

Avoid long-term exposure to humid environment: Long-term humid environment will accelerate the aging and damage of flame retardant work clothes, so it should be avoided as much as possible.

Avoid contact with sharp objects: During storage and transportation, direct contact between flame-retardant work clothes and sharp objects should be avoided to prevent cutting or damaging the fabric.

Comply with the relevant safety regulations: when storing and using flame retardant work clothes, the relevant safety regulations and operating procedures should be strictly observed to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
